Newsletters
Goochland Community Action Program has started a bi-annual newsletter. The newsletter shares updates with the community, information about our partners, highlights members of our team, and spreads awareness of GCAP’s assistance programs. You can find printed copies in the Goochland Social Services office or in community centers around Goochland County.

Annual Impact Report
From July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, GCAP directly assisted 247 households, which totals 476 Goochland County residents! This included rent or mortgage assistance, utility assistance, job training programs, summer camp, after-school care, and supplemental monthly food gift cards. These programs help ensure all residents have access to safe housing, job opportunities, affordable childcare, and nutritious foods.

2025 Community Needs Assessment
Community Action Agencies are required to complete a Community Needs Assessment every three years. This assessment includes feedback from community members and local organizations to determine the top needs and challenges in the county. This information is then used to guide GCAP’s programs and services for the next three years.
